Each of us share the same Spiritual DNA We are Divine Light. This Truth has been taught by the masters, saints and sages throughout man's existence, and It is available to everyone today. The seeming differences between us is our degree of awareness of that Light. We encourage reading and the study of the spiritual teachers throughout the ages. Many souls are guided by the teachings of others. But we also recognize that it is not necessary to adopt anyone's teachings as the 'only' way to spiritual enlightenment. We do not ask anyone to 'believe'. We suggest that you come to KNOW through your own experience. Reaching a full spiritual awareness, and maintaining that awareness, is the focus of our endeavors. We do not apply for/nor receive any government financial assistance in any form, including tax advantages. We do not ask for money from anyone. All may attend freely. We do not require any particular spiritual practice. There is no 'membership', simply souls gathering to share and experience the Divine |

We are each more than the sum of our parts. Our body, mind, and spirit make us an individual but also connect us to a larger community that exists all around us. At The Lighted Path we offer activities that encourage the integration of our body, mind, and spirit and the opportunity to help each other. |
| We are all souls seeking connection with the Divine Light. The soul gradually and continually seeks its own fulfillment. Every deep longing we possess, however it is disguised, is our soul longing to realize itself as the Light and Love that IT IS. |
| Upon realizing and maintaining the awareness of our authentic essence, true peace is attained. It is in that awareness that we come to know what is real and what is illusion. Peace is attained because we cease to struggle against perceived 'problems'. |

| Jesus, the Great Master, taught: The Golden Rule "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 7.12 ESV) One may argue that this needs to be at the top of the list, and they may well be right by virtue of popularity. But notice the similarity to number one, and I think this is actually number one restated in a different way. Ah, to treat others as we would want to be treated. This would change humanity forever. The Bible, in a Word. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22.37-40 ESV) Love. God. Your neighbor as yourself. The "Law and the Prophets" was a shorthand way of saying "The entire Hebrew scriptures." Jesus said it all could be summed up in these two commands. Further yet, using a Jewish teaching method known as a kesher connection, Jesus linked the two. In other words, he was saying that to love your neighbor was to love God. You couldn't do one without the other. The Bible, in a word: Love. from: http://www.bible-guide-online.com/jesus-quotes-top-ten.html |
